I just took part in a thought-provoking discussion about what SF published in the last ten years may turn out to be timelessly classic – and why. It’s posted at SF Signal’s Mind Meld, embellished with the covers of the books named.

Alexis, I just found your blog, and what should I see but this–thanks for the rec. Interesting that only three women writers (if I read the names right) made the total list of “may well be classics.” There’s a lot more good SF work by women…so if some of it isn’t “classic” later on, we’ll know we’re not past the old boys’ club attitude of reviewers and readers.
